Maid to Serve

Maid to Serve is a roleplaying game where players take on the roles of Maids and Butlers as they compete for the heart of their Lords and Ladies. Going about their daily chores in this Slice of Life game of small problems and big reactions, Maids of a variety of personalities and backgrounds can seek out love and friendship.

Setting agnostic and making no assumptions for gender or sexuality, Maids can be a part of any world or story. From helping their Lords or Ladies in the castles of fantasy worlds or manors of the past to space stations and alien planets of sci-fi settings and the future. Any setting, preexisting or not, can be adapted to Maid to Serve, and creativity is the limit.

- How It Plays -

Maid to Serve using a six-sided dice based narrative system,  suitable for two or more players in both long games and short. A game with simplicity of Tests seen as important, four skills oversee all aspects of your character. Confidence, Connections, Elegance, and Physicality all deciding the sort of Maid you are.

Setting out to perform their daily duties, Maids will inevitably encounter some simple issue which requires only the most over the top of reactions. Fighting cockatrices for eggs and meat, sneaking into private events to change out a stained coat,  cleaning up after fighting assassins to make sure the party isn't ruined, no trouble is too small to ignore or too big to trouble your Lord with.

Of course, all this must be done while gaining your desired love's favor, hoping to gain enough affection with them to one day seal the deal and spend the rest of your lives together.

- Behind the Game -

This game is the sole creation of Gwynevere Bloodmoon, a polyamorous and pansexual trans woman whose always had an interest in these sorts of stories and romance.

Written, edited, laid out, and given art by me, and has been one of the largest projects I've ever taken on by myself. It's my hope you'll enjoy it as much as I enjoyed making it, and it will bring those who play it the joy it brought me.
